Your friend, he thinks he has a shot. Then right before last call, some other guy swoops in and takes home the girl your friend wasted the entire night trying to get. Sorry dude. While last year I took great pleasure out of the Mets blowing their shot at the post-season, this year I just feel really bad for them. They hold their own destiny. They have a few games to go and are still tied for the wild card. As much as I'd like to say I hope they can pull it out, I simply can't. I think the Brewers would be a better team to watch in the post-season.
